The Children Who Never Were
The Children Who Never Were is not a book of condemnation nor is it about shaming women who’ve found themselves in abortion clinics. It is a book of hope which echoes the truth about God’s unconditional love and forgiving grace for mankind. To women who’ve had one or multiple abortions; If you’ve ever wondered if God can forgive you for aborting a pregnancy, now is a good time to stop because in this skillfully written book you will read about God’s unconditional love for mankind and His abundant grace (which unfortunately, some of us tend to abuse – Romans 6:1). The first step to accepting God’s forgiving grace is forgiving self. To my sisters who’ve had abortions and feel rejected by society, you are loved by your Heavenly Father. To those in our communities who daily ‘judge’ us for choices we make, have made, or will make, it is not your place to judge (unrighteously) nor ‘play God.’ Every individual has the ‘right’ to choose how they spend their days on earth. John 3:17 records that God did not send His son to condemn the world but that the world through him [Jesus Christ] might be saved. If God has not condemned women (myself included) who’ve had abortions, why do you? Some of us pass judgment on acts we believe we’ll never do but keep quiet on ‘sins’ we commit. Being pro-life, pro-choice, or pro-both (pun intended) is an individual’s right to choose. Let them choose. In the end, it’s about living a life pleasing unto God and self; and giving an account of our deeds to God only.
